About this position

Join the Young Talents Hub at Duisburg Business & Innovation (DBI) and be part of an innovative team shaping the future of economic development, business growth, and international positioning.
DBI operates within an interdisciplinary HUB model, focusing on economic development, startup support, business networking, and digital transformation. As part of the Young Talents HUB, you will work on real projects that contribute to Duisburg’s economic strength and international visibility.

Your mission

  • Assist in project management and support DBI’s HUBs in executing economic development initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and data analysis, translating findings into actionable insights.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of business events and networking formats.
  • Engage with business leaders, academic institutions, and policymakers to foster collaboration.

Your profile

  • You are in the final stages of your studies in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • You have a strong analytical mindset and can process complex information effectively.
  • You are fluent in English (written and verbal) and can communicate professionally.
  • You are tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital tools and Microsoft Office.
  • You enjoy teamwork, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
