Warehouse Manager (m/f/d) - Gelsenkirchen

We are looking for a technically competent team player to join our external warehouse in Gelsenkirchen as soon as possible, who will set a good example and motivate and develop our existing team at the site to achieve top performance. You are characterized by assertiveness, quality-conscious work, reliability and a high level of customer orientation. You can expect an exciting, responsible and varied job.
Your tasks:

• Taking over operational management in the areas of incoming goods, order picking and outgoing goods
• Technical management and active support in setting up a warehouse team
• Ensuring a clear warehouse structure and guaranteeing the implementation of defined processes, as well as adherence to workflows in line with deadlines and requirements
• On-schedule order release and monitoring of order processes
• Communicating with customers, handling freight forwarders and preparing shipping documents

Your profile

• Successfully completed training in warehouse logistics or a comparable qualification, as well as several years of professional experience in a comparable position
• Confident handling of common software programs (e.g. warehouse management, merchandise management)
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken German is essential, knowledge of English is an advantage
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system, including Saturdays if necessary
