Transport Specialist (m/w/d)

How can you help us?

Oversee & coordinate the overall relationship with a group of carriers in terms of sea/air/rail.
Oversee & coordinate contract negotiation and general rates´ inquiries & RFQs, partnering with Line Management & internal stakeholders.
Responsible for accuracy and availability of rates to relevant internal and external stake holders
Opt for continuous improvement initiatives with carriers & internal stakeholders, to improve costs and/or processes.
Executes performance management metrics reviews (cost, transit time) for Inbound transportation and derive improvement plans from it.
Liaise & communicate with internal stakeholders and external parties.
Escalation whenever necessary to Line Management.

Are you our match?

Minimum 3-5 years Transportation and/or Shipping and Logistics experience, within a preferably high-volume logistics environment.
Existing relations with Carriers/forwarders (sea,air,rail,trucking).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences.
Capability of handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic thinker and team player.
Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint).
Proficient level of English language skills. Additional languages is a plus.
