• You hold a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering (with a focus on polymers or plastics), or Material Science.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in R&D activities, preferably in an industrial environment; experience in the tape or coating business would be a plus.
• You have strong analytical skills and a pro-active, result driven mindset.
• You are a team-oriented player and an innovative person that can sell his/her case in a well-founded way.
• You are fluent in English. Dutch and German are assets.
• You are flexible in time (occasionally irregular work hours to support field work and customer immersion) and in travelling to meet customers and suppliers (15 - 20%).
