Research Associate / Post-Doc (m,f,x) for the development of Simulation Methods (3D CFD) for cavitating and turbulent flow in Hydraulic Machinery and Component for 3 years with 39,83 hours per week, TV-L E14

The main research topic of the Chair of Hydraulic Fluid Machinery (HSM) is the development of customised CFD methods for the numerical simulation of multiphase flow in fluid machinery and their components. Application examples cover rotating and displacement machinery, injection systems and basic investigations. We focus on the customised development of numerical schemes and physical models, for example for the computation of cavitation, multiphase and multispecies fluid flow, jet break-up, bubble dynamics and turbulence. Thereby, a bridge is built from basic and methodological research to industrial research and applications on machinery.
