An exciting opportunity has arisen with a client of ours based in Bochum. They are seeking a Cloud Operations Support Engineer to work on their award-winning Digitalization Platform and join a vibrant, fast-growing team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Environment Management: Create, configure, and monitor environments in both public and private clouds.
• Product Administration: Oversee the installation (release updates) and administration of our Digitalization Platform products.
• Customer Coordination: Handle customer-specific queries related to cloud operations.
• Efficiency Optimization: Identify efficiency potentials, act as a knowledge carrier, and promote continuous exchange between cross-functional teams in system operations and development.
• Integration: Connect the Digitalization Platform to external infrastructures and APIs.
• Collaboration: Maintain close communication with software development teams, customer support, and product management.

Your Profile

• Experience: Professional experience in operating servers, server-based applications, and cloud infrastructures.
• Education: A degree in computer science or a comparable field, or completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) with relevant professional experience in cloud operations/DevOps.
• Cloud Hosting: Experience with cloud hosting platforms such as AWS, MS Azure, or OpenTelekomCloud.
• Problem Solving: Enthusiasm for new challenges and a goal-oriented approach to implementing solutions.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of Linux-based IT server systems and networks is desirable. Familiarity with Docker, GitHub, and Terraform is an advantage. Experience in installing and configuring software is essential.
• Security and Standards: Understanding of IT security, monitoring tools, and ISO27001.
• Language Proficiency: Good knowledge of German (minimum B2) and English.

Work Arrangement:
This role requires onsite presence in Bochum, combined with a hybrid work model for flexibility.
